Thank you for your interest in experiencing the Plantation Cottage in Coastal Encinitas! Below you will find basic property and reservation details. Please feel free to ask any additional questions. Our oasis will be your home and we want you to enjoy it as your own! – Mahalo!
Reservations: Feel free to contact us directly to book your stay or make your reservation through Homeaway. Your reservation is confirmed with a 25% of total USD deposit which is non-refundable, however, it does apply to the rent balance which is due upon occupancy or thereabout when convenient! For payment of the deposit and rent, you can use a Credit Card, PayPal, check, or cash. Upon receipt of deposit, confirmation of deposit receipt and your dates will be provided along with follow up household Welcome documentation.
Rates: Our prices reflect an outstanding value considering this coastal location, unique experience and the physically fantastic property! Note seasonal minimum stays and rates are posted and up to date on Homeaway & Homeaway. Most of the year (Mid Sept – May) there is a 3-4 night min stay ** Summer is 7 Days with no weekly discount. City of Encinitas requires a 10% TOT for all stays <31 days.. and that fee is waived for monthly + visits of course! Feel free to contact us with questions and to verify specific dates and rates. Check-in/Check-Out: Check-in is 3 pm or later and check-out is by 10 am. Early Arrival is currently not offered due to increased cleaning requirements! We are happy to accommodate slight variations if possible but must address requests on a case-by-case basis… If the house is booked we need the time to prepare your stay! The house is always ready for your arrival with the front door open and key waiting inside. You can leave the key inside when you depart.
Cleaning: The cleaning team does a fantastic job on the property so the house is immaculate for your arrival. Maid service is available for stays if needed. There is no deposit requirement or long-lease document for ease and we simply ask that you leave the house in the same general condition in which it was received.
Property Use: You have use of the property amenities. The site is a 10,000 square foot lot with the subject rental being the larger main house at the front of the property. The house has exclusive use of the front patio, driveway, BBQ patio outside of the kitchen, and the nice mid-deck area with a table, fire pit, tiki torches & the Tiki Hot Tub!! A small bungalow structure is privately situated in the back of the property, which is privately separated and maintained by the owner which is not rented out. There is an outdoor laundry area, 2-3 classic Schwinn cruisers, miscellaneous beach equipment (chairs, coolers, boogies boards, and a couple foam surf boards which are available.
