Happy New Year! Welcome to 2015 and it is time to make plans to come visit San Diego and hit the beach! Why shovel snow all winter when you can take a break and enjoy the Santa Ana “winter” winter conditions that bring 80 degree days to the coast in Encinitas and elsewhere in San Diego County!

Cardiff offers everything coastal. Great dining, our favorite store with an ocean surf view Seaside Market . There are also several events which we really like to visit every year. Cardiff Dog Days of Summer is cool! The Taste of Cardiff offers you the chance to walk around between the composer district hot spots and sample food and drinks while providing a great spot to socialize with the community and friends.
It would not be Cardiff to not mention the Cardiff Kook.This surf tribute statue took on quiet a life of public heckling that has grow into a small cult following, calendar, run event, and when will we see and end? likely never. Something to make you laugh and its better than local news channels!
There are several new spots that have opened up next to the PBC in downtown Encinitas. Will provide more useful local ideas in coming updates.
