Encinitas Highlands

Plantation Beach Cottage sits within the Historic Downtown Encinitas boundary designation — a protected district recognized for its cultural significance dating to the 1880s. The Highlands is a cherished walking community where tree-lined streets invite morning strolls and neighbors greet each other with genuine warmth.

This is a place that has maintained its small-town charm while embracing the relaxed coastal California lifestyle — where people wave from porches, children play in front yards, and the pace of life encourages connection over convenience.

Where strangers become neighbors, and neighbors become friends.
